I mocked the homepage to feature launch notes, recent help topics, and a few member stories. It feels much better than treating the public surface like a static brochure because visitors can immediately see the community has motion.

That is the direction we want. The marketing site template can later borrow this pattern for proof, trust, and customer examples while the forum keeps the ongoing discussion.
